Yes. The free tier includes up to 3 groups and 1,000 transactions with all splitting modes, smart settlements, and charts. Pro at €2/mo adds 10 groups, unlimited transactions, and API/MCP access. Ultra at €9/mo removes all limits. No ads, no paywalls.

How is Even Split different from Splitwise?

Splitwise is a US-based app that limits free users to basic features and stores data on American servers. Even Split is built for Europe: your data stays in the EU, there are no trackers or analytics, and the free tier includes 3 groups with all core features. Pro starts at €2/mo with a 7-day trial. You can even import your Splitwise data with one CSV upload.

How is Even Split different from Tricount?

Tricount only supports equal splitting on its free tier and shows ads. Even Split supports equal, percentage, shares, and one-pays-all splitting modes — all free. Even Split also offers a REST API, AI integration via MCP, spending charts, and Splitwise import — none of which Tricount has.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 in the Western Europe region. We don’t transfer data outside the EU. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no third-party cookies. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Can I import my Splitwise history?

Yes. Export your data from Splitwise as a CSV, upload it to Even Split, and all your expenses, settlements, and group members will be imported automatically — including proper settlement handling and balance-neutral entries.

What is MCP / AI integration?

Even Split has a built-in Model Context Protocol server. AI assistants like Claude can add expenses, check balances, and settle debts on your behalf via natural language. There’s also a full REST API for any kind of automation.

Is my data private?

Yes. We don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking. The only cookies we set are for login sessions and your dark/light mode preference — purely functional. Your expense data is never shared, sold, or used for advertising.
